Description

Participate in the Luxottica recruiting day on 26 September and find out about the positions you could occupy in the company.

Luxottica is recruiting young, motivated, curious and enterprising talent to work in the Milan Headquarters in a young and dynamic, distinctly international, environment in which they will have the opportunity to take part in corporate projects, measuring themselves with a stimulating and continuously evolving market.

The company is looking for 2012 Master of Science graduates or graduation candidates in their final year of the Master of Science programme with aptitude for problem solving and quantitative analysis.

Resourcefulness, spirit of initiative and organizational autonomy complete the profile of the ideal candidate who will work in the following departments:

  • Marketing

The internee will work in the Marketing Department in support of a Trade Marketing, Brand Management, Training Marketing or Media/Web Marketing team. He/she will participate at the Corporate level in the development of activities and marketing plans and will assist in all daily operational activities.

  • Finance

The internee will work in the Finance Department in support of a Business Controlling, Credit or Treasury team. He/she will support the tutor in the following activities:

  1. preparation of monthly closings through preparation of the management income statement

  2. coordination of reporting at the local level

  3. preparation of periodic reporting for the reference department on performance indicators

  4. support to markets in the interim Budget and Forecast process

  5. support to the reference department in strategic business decisions

  • Business Analysis

The internee will be part of a Business Analysis team. He/she will support the tutor in the following activities:

  1. identification of business opportunities and planning of specific market projects

  2. definition of a dashboard of specific KPIs for monitoring the efficiency of commercial operations in the reference area

  3. preparation of specific sectoral analyses and associated reports

  4. review of the corporate risk management system

  • Commercial

The internee will be part of a commercial management team for a portfolio of brands for specific geographical areas. He/she will support the tutor in the following activities:

  1. commercial analyses: sales mix (sun, prescription, lenses) and product segmentation

  2. commercial structure performance analyses

  3. distribution and price positioning analyses

  4. support in the definition of commercial plans and strategies

  5. preparation of presentations on best practices
