Each resource will be assigned a manager with the objective of facilitating integration in the company and the team. Gruppo Reti pays particular attention to the professional training and preparation of its resources and for this reason young people joining the company will plan with their manager a growth and structured training path via vocational courses, on-the-job training and personal study.

In particular, projects in which candidates will be inserted are:

INFRASTRUCTURE AND NETWORKING AREA

Migration of an IT infrastructure to Microsoft Windows 2012/Windows 8

The candidate will be part of a project team responsible for migration from a Windows 7/Windows server 2008 domain environment to the new Active Directory Windows Server 2012 and the new Windows 8 OS. The project will be divided into the following phases:

• analysis of the existing infrastructure (domain architecture, network analysis, name resolution, security policies, authentication infrastructure);

• design of the new architecture and prototyping in the laboratory;

• study and laboratory test of the new features of Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 and of massive migration procedures;

• implementation of the new infrastructure, testing and migration;

• documentation preparation and quality assurance.

Technologies - Microsoft Windows 2012, Microsoft Windows 8, Active Directory Services, Windows 7, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012, OS Deployment, Microsoft Hyper-V.

IT governance

The candidate will be part of the support team responsible for IT Governance (Governance Service Desk, Incident Management, Service Request, etc.) in a major international financial company. The experience will lead to training on the various business procedures (technological and process) necessary for the maintenance of an efficient IT infrastructure.

Technologies used - Microsoft Server Infrastructure, Active Directory, virtual infrastructures, networking, remote technologies, System Management infrastructures.

BUSINESS SOLUTIONS AREA

Implementation of an Intranet portal with Microsoft Sharepoint 2010

The internship involves the candidate becoming part of a team for the implementation of an intranet based on the Microsoft Sharepoint 2010 platform. The internee will acquire the necessary technical skills to configure and develop extensions to the platform. The internship will allow the candidate to acquire good knowledge of Content Management System platforms and information organisation methods useful for the construction of corporate intranets. (Technologies used – Microsoft Sharepoint 2010, .Net 3.5, SQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 2010)

Development of an application for the management of financial flows

The internship will address financial issues, in particular in the insurance sector. The candidate will be part of a project team responsible for extension of the functionalities of the application used by an insurance company for management of financial flows. The internship will allow the candidate to acquire good knowledge of financial issues, the development of multi-level enterprise applications and of data warehouse design. The candidate will become familiar with some of the business processes and tools used to control development processes with the aim of ensuring the customer high quality standards (Microsoft Team Foundation Server). (Technologies used - .Net 3.5, WPF, WCF, SQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 2010)

Development of a Business Intelligence system

The internship involves the candidate becoming part of a project team responsible for implementing a Business Intelligence system, starting from the analysis of data sources to then define the Data Marts which feed the reporting systems and develop ETL data transformation procedures and the final reports. The internship will allow the candidate to acquire good knowledge of the Business Intelligence tool and of data warehouse design. (Technologies used - QlikView, Oracle Database)

Development of a supervision module for a Building Automation system based on Konnex technology

The candidate will be involved in the project for the extension of the supervision module for a building automation system based on the European Konnex standard. This system will be subsequently implemented in an existing building complete with home automation system. The candidate will acquire good knowledge of the development of applications with .Net technology and of Home&Building Automation systems based on Konnex technology. (Technologies used - .Net 3.5, Ajax , SQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 2010, Konnex)

Development of an Iphone/Ipad application (Xcode)

The candidate will work in the Home & Building Automation Department of the company, in particular he/she will work on the project dedicated to development of the application for Apple devices (iPhone/iPad) for management of the elements comprising a Building Automation system (lighting system, heating and air conditioning system, blind and shutter control, etc.). In particular, this application must integrate with a supervision system already present and operational.
The candidate will acquire good knowledge of application development with .Net technology and of the Xcode language. (Technologies used - Xcode, .Net 3.5, SQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 2010)

BUSINESS ANALYSIS AREA

Trading operational support

The candidate will be part of the team dedicated to supporting Trading operations at a prestigious Banking Institution. He/she must acquire the necessary financial and technical/application skills to support existing personnel and complete in autonomy micro-analysis activities for gathering requirements and corresponding implementation in the reference system The candidate will be able to acquire good knowledge of the typical data flow of a Bank, as well as the key systems for management of interbank transactions executed on international markets, with the possibility to work in close contact with operators. Propensity for technical/application aspects will be appreciated.

Software Architecture Development in the Financial Area

The candidate will be part of a team at a major bank that deals with the design, development, testing and maintenance of computer architectures for structuring, pricing and risk assessment of exotic financial instruments. (Financial Mathematics, Object Oriented Design, C++ development, Java, XSD \ XML, DBMS (Oracle, Sybase,...) development). Propensity for project teamwork and high flexibility will be appreciated.

Depending on the level of preparation and knowledge, candidates will become part of the various project teams with internships or fixed-term contracts, both with the ultimate goal of employment in the company.

The internship period (curricular and/or extra-curricular) can be 3-6 months, depending on the project.

Monthly reimbursement of expenses is envisaged.
